For the month of January, 2025 we are proud to roll out the official RUSFOR impression mark for the Coyote Airsoft team: Coat of Arms of Staraya Ladoga.
Staraya Ladoga, also known as "The First Capital of Russia"
The flag depicts a diving falcon - a symbol of Rurik, and subsequently his dynasty. According to the chronicles, it was on the site of Old Ladoga that the Rurik settlement was built. After the death of Rurik, the regent of his son name Oleg ained full control over the Northern lands, and then captured Kyiv (modern Kiev, Ukraine), moving the capital there. The first capital of the Rus, and thus Russia, is Old Ladoga, the falcon symbol has been transformed into a trident by Ukrainians. Its a foundational Rus symbol.
The Town of Ladoga Indiana, where Coyote Field is located bears the namesake of Old Ladoga and the Lake Ladoga region.
The coat of arms of Staraya Ladoga is the official standard for Coyote Airsoft Team's RUSFOR impression.
