What Indiana airsoft players actually use it for
The server started as the comms channel for one field and turned into something broader. Games get posted here before they go anywhere else. Somebody drives from Lafayette and posts a seat. Somebody buys a used HPA rig off a guy in Terre Haute. Somebody asks whether their new build clears the chrono and gets four answers in ten minutes.
It is not a promo feed. Staff post events, but most of the traffic is players talking to players about kit, tactics, other fields, and out-of-state MilSim trips.

Every one of these had a planning channel, a roster, and an argument about rules before it happened. That is most of what the server is for, and most of why it is worth joining rather than lurking on a directory site.

Questions people ask before joining
Is there an Indiana airsoft Discord?
Yes. The Coyote Force Discord is an Indiana-based airsoft and magfed paintball server that has been running since 2021, with over 100 channels covering games, gear, and field news. It is free to join at discord.gg/coyote.
Do I have to play at Coyote Field to join?
No. The server grew out of Coyote Field in Ladoga, but plenty of members play elsewhere in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky, or travel for out-of-state MilSim. You are welcome whether or not you have ever set foot on the property.
I'm brand new to airsoft. Is it beginner-friendly?
Yes. "What should I buy first" is one of the most common threads in the server. Post your budget and where in Indiana you are, and people will point you at gear and at the closest game.
Is it airsoft only, or magfed paintball too?
Both. Airsoft is the biggest room by a wide margin, but magfed paintball, paintball, and heavy weapons all have their own channels, and most large scenario events run mixed formats.
Are Indiana college airsoft clubs in there?
Several. Purdue, DePauw and UIUC clubs have their own channels, alongside independent Indiana teams. Club officers can ask for a channel after joining.
Does it cost anything?
The Discord is free. Game days at Coyote Field are paid separately, and registering online ahead of time is cheaper than paying at the gate.
