Event Safety Briefing: No Parking Lot Camps or Staging

October 28, 2026

Starting with FTX: Blackout on November 1, parking lot camps and staging are out on big scenario days. Camps move to the north, east, and south sides of the barn.

Due to recent events, we've had to change our policy on parking lot camps and staging for large events. Effective immediately, and starting with FTX: Blackout on Sunday, November 1, we can no longer allow parking lot camps or staging on big scenario days, such as our FTX and STX series.

What's Changing

The parking lot is parking only on big scenario days. No camps and no staging.

All attendees need to move their gear, tents, and equipment to the common staging areas.

Where to Set Up Camp

The common staging areas are on the north, east, and south sides of the barn. The west side is parking only, with no staging or camps.

Why We're Making This Change

Keeping the parking areas clear lets us keep traffic moving, keep people safe, and keep access open for emergency services. It also helps us avoid accidents, property damage to guest vehicles, and liability.

Plan Your Camp

If you like having a camp, we recommend bringing chairs, tables, or shaded cover for your spot on the north, east, or south side.

Justin, Courtny, and the Referee staff will be administering and enforcing this policy on event days. We know a change like this takes some adjusting, and we thank you for your consideration. See you on the field.
