Planning a club outing, dorm floor trip, or friend-group adventure near Purdue? West Lafayette has plenty of dining and campus events — but when you want something active that everyone remembers, you need options that work for mixed experience levels and real group sizes.
IM leagues and club sports are the default — low cost, on campus, easy to organize. Great for weekly play; less memorable for a one-off social.

Coyote Field in Ladoga is about 35 minutes south of campus — the closest real outdoor airsoft and paintball field many Purdue groups use for weekend FTXs and private parties. Private parties start at $40/player with a $50 deposit; gear included for groups of 4–60. Purdue Airsoft Club players regularly make the drive for scenario games on Saturdays and Sundays starting at noon.
Split ten players and you are at $40 each for a full private field day — often less than a night out after cover and rideshares. Ask about overnight camping when you book to turn it into an adventure party day.
